Getting a quote from us is simple, and the number you get is the number you pay. It starts with a walkthrough. Tuan, our lead estimator, will either come out and look at the place or have you take a quick video on your phone, room by room, so we can see the actual stairs, the actual couch, and the actual driveway. Virginia rules require a written estimate before move day for household goods, and we take that seriously rather than treating it as paperwork.
Once we have seen the home, you get a written flat-rate estimate back, usually the same evening. It spells out the crew, the truck, and the price in plain numbers. With a flat rate there is no meter running and no nasty math at the end of a long day. The price holds. To lock in your date, a $150 deposit reserves the crew and the truck, and that deposit comes straight off your total, so it is not an extra fee.
Prefer an hourly arrangement instead? We do that too: a two-mover crew with a truck runs $179 an hour, a three-mover crew $245 an hour. Either way, call (888) 711-4778 or send the quote form and we will get you a real number to work with.
